I sold my 2008 Outback in 2010 - almost 6 years ago. Just the other day, I realized that I still had my original carpeted floor mats sitting on a shelf in my garage. These things sell for $85, so I put them on craigslist and eBay, I hope they sell.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
I also found a set of rubber mats for my 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and I sold those on craigslist for $50.
I also sold my old desktop minutes ago!! I sold it for $160, not too shabby and exactly what I asked for it.
To top it off, I managed to sell this plantar fascitis brace I bought and didn’t use, and an old racquet I stopped using 2 years ago.
Now, if I could only get rid of my wife’s brand new ski boots and a pair of skis... I love selling stuff :)

Have you got the inevitable “Will you take $10 for the floor mats” yet?

I still have a luggage cover from my Santa Fe in my garage that I forgot to put in when I sold it. Never thought about putting in on CL. I think you’ve motivated me to do that. I had a weird experience years ago when I sold my S10 and then sold the tonneau cover separately on CL. The buyer had one arm and expected me to install it on his truck for him. Wasn’t a huge deal, but would have been nice to know in advance. We met in a gas station parking lot and I didn’t really have the tools to put it on so we did a hack that involved a lot of rope and praying.

Surprisingly, no. I priced them at 1/2 of what a local place or Amazon would sell them for, and I had two people that wanted them, but we just could not find a time and place to meet. Not willing to waste an hour traveling to sell something for $45.

Craigslist man....I have a serious love/hate relationship with it.

I’m leaving in a few minutes to trade in my car, and I put the original floor mats back in, taking out the 74,000 mile-worn WeatherTech mats. Was figuring on seeing if I could find a buyer for them, so you give me hope.
I just don’t want to find them on the shelf in the garage 6 years from now.

Put them up for sale right away. Money in the pocket is better than used goods in the garage ;)
